Senior Law and Order Systems Analyst
C2S Consulting LLC, seeks a Senior Law and Order Systems Analyst for work to be conducted in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The incumbent must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent and 60 months of experience and must have knowledge and experience in software development pattern, MVC (Model View Controller). Quality Assurance principals and practices. Provide capacity planning support for storage, processors, and infrastructure. Java 8 Persistence Specification, Java 8 RESTFull Server Specification, IBM AIX Specialization, Database (PL/SQL / IBM DB2 / Microsoft SQL Server), IBM InfoSphere DataStage, WebSphere Information Integrator Edition, ESRI GIS (integrated mapping), InfoSphere Metadata Workbench, InfoSphere Data and Quality Stage OutSystems (Low Code Platform). The duties of the position include: Responsible for leading the technical development, quality assurance, installation and support of a diversity of complex products and services (including operating systems, system software development, training and system hardware) over a variety of technical architectures for Law & Order Agencies. Design and build integration processes through the exchange of information between database repositories. Guarantee and shield the information of the law and order agency so that it is not violated through hacker attempts. Design and build technical procedures so that the authorized information of the Law and Order agency can be available to any state and federal agency. Design and develop data modeling with PL/SQL and ETL tools to Extract Transform and Load data from legacy systems to new information systems Allowing law enforcement agencies to have effective tools for rapid response against crime. Support and maintain reports from CIWS crime analysis applications. With these technological solutions, the law enforcement agency achieves the ability to prevent crimes and apply early prevention processes. Define and confirm the overall detailed business requirements, define web and mobile application requirements/customizations required for the Criminal Information Warehouse. Defines the data extraction processes for their incorporation in the agency’s cloud, ensuring operational continuity. Support and maintain the mapping integration customizations required for the GIS functions within the Crime Analytics toolset. Define Near Real Time Update requirements customizations to the staging environment and necessary ETL (Extract, Transfer and Load) process change requirements. Determine data quality analysis tasks for the CIW foundation source systems. Provide leadership to team members. Support and actively participate with project teams. Conduct evaluations of new Operating and systems software. Participates as required in mission critical systems upgrades, development, and product selection. Install Systems software, upgrades, fixes, and tools as assigned (such as AIX, Cognos, OutSystems IBM DataStage, Oracle, IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server). Supervise, participate where necessary and ensure that there is 24-hour support for current systems and products. Analyze and solve operational and procedural issues with regards to systems software.
